Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

The undergraduate degree program was designed to provide the student with a knowledge of basic science, engineering science and engineering design. Engineering design is emphasized throughout the curriculum beginning with the introductory courses. Students will design individually and as part of a design team. The curriculum culminates in a multi-disciplinary capstone design. Upon graduation, students are prepared to work immediately in most areas of the profession. Undergraduate course work will be available in most major fields of civil engineering. These include: fluid mechanics, construction materials, construction engineering, transportation engineering, structural engineering, and geotechnical engineering.
